Horseshoe Bay

Today we took quite a long ride to the West End where the most beautiful beaches in Bermuda are. It was a challenge because we had to make a tranfer between two busses in Hamilton. There is no direct connection from Ferry Road, St.George (where we live) to Southhampton (our destination =]). But it was worth it! We ended up on the most beautiful (according to Bermuda's beaches rankingof) beach of them all - The Horseshoe Bay. The sand of these beach has a pink color because of the shells of foraminifera and a great view on the open Ocean. Although it is more croudy that other beaches we have visited on the East End. But we didn't mind that.... =)

Now We can confirm with absolute certainty that it is true. With a view like that You can forget about everything and just listen to the Ocean....

I wouldn't be myself if I didn't take a 'picture from a hand' ^^

We had a great fun enjoying the sun, soft sand and big waves. There were voleyball and beach tenis competitions which everyone could take part in.

I don't know if You can see pink color of this sand but it really is pink (like whole Bermuda).

Pink sand :)
