Elbow Beach Spring Welcoming

First spring Saturday on the beach - fantastic Elbow can never let you down!
In the morning we went to Hamilton to get the best coffee in the rock - 'The Island Coffee'. After that Angie (Argentinian friend of Mara) picked us up, squeezed all 5 of us (Mara, Pri, Anna, Sam and Me) in a car and drove us right next to the beach. The Elbow Beach is located southward where you can see barrier reef from the shore. We were hopping to see the whales passing by, but unfortunately it didn't happen. But yet we had lots of fun swimming, playing frisbee  and enjoying the sun.

Spring time

haven't been here quite a while... busy time during this last months of our POGO-journey. Only 2.5 months left and it's time of experiments, lab work, computer work and finally writing papers. This is the time when all off us work in different projects and do different stuff. On Friday we had to give presentations showing methodology of our work and first results if there were any. I must say that everyone is doing great so far! Considering that some of us have to keep up with the work from home Institutions and sometimes it is not so easy to find time for that. For example Me. Writing my PhD publication, conference abstract, project proposal (as a class assignment), writing POGO-research project publication, trying to arrange an experiment which become more and more far away from being possible and taking science diving course (which is cool!) at the same time. Quite a lot to process. But fortunately there are some nice thing coming up such as trip to Non-Such Island combine with whale watching that are passing by the Bermuda wright now and are possible to see if one got lucky. We are going to try our luck in the end of March (maybe 28th). Soo excited!!
